contradictions of life

- Sometimes the mark of learning something in school isn't a 99% score in a test, but an absolute failure for today's test, but not so for tomorrow.

- Drinking supposedly loosens up inhibitions and heightens experiences. In my experience, I never had fun while I was drunk, but I sure loved being sober.

- The measure of true strength isn't exactly "I KNOW I CAN DO THIS!" but more of "I know I can't do this alone, and I am willing to surrender/ask for help."

- I don't mind having a third party in my romantic relationships...but that third party had better be God.

- It's by looking down that one learns best how not to fall on his or her face.

Enough food for thought
